Typical Day at Tumbleweed South:
Once the buses arrive, our younger campers start the day off with morning round-up where they join their groups and greet each other with songs and laughter. A typical day consists of five periods of various traditional and unique day camp activities and will always include swimming and lunch. We try to schedule the major activities in two consecutive days to accommodate the flexible day scheduling available to all campers. Activities alternate between high and low energy. In the afternoon, our campers enjoy a snack and get ready for afternoon round-up where they sit with their bus route and participate in skits and songs through dismissal.
